Our Story

When I first started playing volleyball, the sport was nowhere near as globally popular or accessible as it is today. In my area, social competitions and open gyms were rare, often requiring over an hour of travel just to step on a court. Then Haikyuu arrived. The anime exploded in popularity, and with it, volleyball did too. 

Since then, the sport has grown rapidly and become far more accessible. Yet despite this growth, there are still parts of volleyball that remain out of reach for many players. In some ways, it can still feel exclusive, almost clique-ey.

One of those overlooked areas is apparel.

Game-day jerseys matter, but not everyone plays on an official team. Many players, both new and experienced, play socials, attend open gyms, or train independently. These players are often left without volleyball apparel they can truly call their own, defaulting instead to generic sportswear from brands like Nike or Adidas.

That’s why I created BQuik.
